BONUS LESSON TWO

I wanted to add in this new bonus lesson to show you inside my current sketchbook. I want to share with you how I’ve developed and progressed one idea, an idea which I started in the sketchbook I filmed within this course. I have talked a lot about finding a small starting point, a small access point and following your curiosities and fascinations where they lead you…this is what I have done here.

I have taken the shapes and silhouettes within one plant which I spotted in my local park and I have used them as a springboard for many pages in my sketchbook. I have created a response to this plant, in many different art materials, colour combinations, featuring different marks, different tools and different time frames. I have thought about what I enjoy, what I like and what I am interested in at every iteration and I have leaned in to those interests and captivations…
