Free online art retreat

I am delighted to be teaching at Art Oasis again this year. ​Art Oasis is a free online creative retreat hosted by artist Jessica Swift, running from October 17-23.

Over the week, loads of different artists will be sharing classes, workshops, conversations and creative ideas, and you can dip in and out.

There are more than 40 workshops to choose from, covering all sorts of different approaches to making art, so you can select the things that interest you.

My free hour-long class is called Ink & Intuition: Sketchbook Experiments. We’ll start with two of the simplest things you can draw, a line and a dot, and explore just how much possibility there is in those humble marks, building them into shapes, patterns and intricate black-and-white sketchbook pages.

You can join as many or as few of the sessions as you like, and the whole retreat is free (with a paid option to upgrade for longer access, see below).

I took part last year and the whole thing was a blast.

The event is free to join, but there is also the option to upgrade to a Treasure Chest All-Access Pass, which gives you lifetime access to all of the classes and some lovely additional artist content.
