This original painting is called Still Spaces It is an acrylic painting on thick 350gsm acid free paper. It is a richly layered and stylized still life arrangement bathed in blue. This painting is one of a small series. As the paintings were coming together I was thinking about the importance of spaciousness, pausing, dreamlike scenes, the sentimental importance of the objects we travel through life with…the importance of having space to dream.
It is made by adding multiple layers of paint to build up a rich, intricate and interesting surface. This painting on paper is sold unframed.
